Ken
“Ace” Brewer began racing Pontiacs in 1985.
Ken’s passion for Pontiacs and his years of street
and track racing gained him the reputation for producing
“go fast” Pontiacs.
His knowledge of the Pontiac V-8, its capabilities,
limits and power were learned from some of the pioneering
Pontiac performance experts like Ken Crocie and Pete
McCarthy.
In the early 90’s
there was a notable absence of knowledgeable Pontiac engine
builders in Southern California.
With the encouragement of local and notable Pontiac
enthusiasts, Pacific Performance Racing opened its doors in
June of 1994 dedicated to serving the Pontiac V-8
performance enthusiast.
Pacific
Performance Racing builds everything from octane friendly
restoration engines to all out high-horsepower bracket
engines. Pacific
Performance Racing’s new state-of-the-art on-site dyno
facility provides customers the opportunity to break-in and
tune their new engine for its application prior to
installation.
What started as a modest engine building shop has today grown into a well regarded Pontiac performance parts and racing business thanks to a national advertising campaign initiated in
Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine. Projects and engine builds from
Pacific Performance Racing have been seen in the pages of
Pontiac Enthusiast magazine, Popular Hot Rodding and
High Performance Pontiac. Ken "Ace"
Brewer's participation at Pontiac Drag Days furthers his reputation for creating Pontiac performance and longevity at a great value to the customer.
